⁸ But my eyes are unto You, O God my Lord,
    in You is my trust; do not leave my soul defenseless.
⁹ Keep me from the snares that they have laid for me,
    and the traps of those who do iniquity.
¹⁰ Let the wicked fall into their own nets,
    while I pass by and escape.
